Als der Wächter des Lichts Eldran erscheint, um die Erde vor dem Jaaku Imperium zu beschützen, wird dessen Roboter Raijin-Oh von einer Rakete getroffen und in Richtung Erde geschleudert. Dort schlägt er in einer japanischen Grundschule ein. Um sich weiter auf die Verteidigung der Erde konzentrieren zu können, lässt Eldran Raijin-Oh zurück und gibt einer Gruppe Grundschüler die Aufgabe, mit Hilfe des Roboters, die Monster von Jaaku zu bekämpfen. Jin, Asuka und Koujii werden somit von Eldran auserwählt, Raijin-Oh zu führen und so beginnt ihr Kampf gegen unzählige Monster und jeder Tag hält neue Überraschungen für sie bereit.
